  2. Wherever you where was better than where we were. We went to the Grandfather Mountain Highland games this last weekend. It was rainy and cold. They had a severe weather alert centralized at Grandfather Mountain. Most of the competitions and demonstrations were canceled or postponed (at least the day we were there). Ah well, it was still lots of fun, though I may never get the mud out of our kilts.

    1. Do you have a kilt?? I don't have great knees, so I don't wear one, but Mountain Man is a hottie in the kilt...;) We were in Eastern WA state--it was high and dry!

  3. I'm a big fan of pipes and drums - I always choke up a little if I hear Amazing Grace played on bagpipes.
